Snoods @ Hounds-R-Us

These Snoods are very popular among the long-eared breeds such as the Afghan Hound , the Saluki, the Basset Hound. The snood holds and protects the ears at mealtime so the ears do not fall into the dog bowl and it also prevents the dog from chewing on them by accident. The snood also protects the ears from the other dogs when the playing gets rough. For magnificient long ears this accessory is not just useful, it's a must!

We only use soft fabric that will not snag the dog's hair coat. If fabric is not soft enough, the snood is then lined with satin. Some of the models are also offered as kit with a Martingale collar or leash. You can see them here
